Well my submission to Oracle Mix may not have been picked up but we’ve been invited to co-present with Dell on what is in essence the same material. If you’re fortunate enough to attend and haven’t yet been bored to tears by previous presentations I’ve given on our Banner on RAC on Linux proof-of-concept then drop on by the session at Openworld:
SessionID: S300524
Session Title: Implementing the Oracle Grid on Dell Hardware for Multiple ERP Applications
Abstract: The Oracle grid is designed to create a single infrastructure shared by all business processes. Working with SUNY and Oracle, Dell engineers have established an Oracle Grid Computing infrastructure on Dell hardware by consolidating multiple applications and databases into a single Oracle grid managed and provisioned by Oracle Grid Control. This session covers the architecture, implementation, and performance benchmark of the grid.
